Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED with on-the-job training (OJT).
• Technical certification is a plus.
• 2–3 years’ experience developing and leading a team.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving experience.
• Good people skills and leadership ability.
• Mechanical and electrical aptitude with leadership capability.
• Knowledge of Job Hazard Analysis and safety compliance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and email.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and report writing.
• Ability to train others.

Responsibilities

• Executes plans per work schedule and prioritizes shift resources.
• Ensure safety of all personnel per OSHA and related regs.
• Identify and eliminate hazards to protect workers and product quality.
• Maintain clear communications and morale on shift.
• Develop employees and train hourly labor.
• Lead preventive maintenance planning, inspections, and repairs.
• Collaborate with facility management to improve safety, quality and OEE.
• Stay current with industry regulations and codes governing systems.
• Ensure corporate policies and standards are followed daily.
• Document cost-saving ideas and maintain records.
