Job summary

ADM in Kansas City, KS is seeking a Superintendent to lead day-to-day grain elevator operations, including loading, unloading, sampling, grading, transferring, blending and storage. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is preferred for the role.

Responsibilities

• Ensures the safety of all personnel through compliance with occupational safety and health regulations.
• Adhere to GMP, HACCP, and FSMA requirements.
• Oversee daily plant operations including safety, food safety, quality, production and cost efficiency.
• Identify hazards and take action to eliminate risks to people, product, and environment.
• Address employee concerns and maintain good communications and morale.
• Develop and train hourly labor; lead and analyze maintenance schedules and improvements.
• Utilize mechanical/electrical expertise to maintain systems and facilities.
• Ensure policy adherence and lead preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
