Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an agricultural field or five years of experience in the grain business.
• Operational knowledge of the properties of corn, wheat, beans, milo, and sunflowers.
• Proficiency with POS and scale software; accurate data entry.
• Ability to obtain and retain a class 7B grain fumigation license and a Class A CDL with Haz Mat endorsement.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Directs all elevator operations, maintenance, cleanliness, and product quality control.
• Oversees weighing of incoming/outgoing grain trucks and settlements with customers.
• Supervises all full- and part-time employees and coordinates sales support for feed, petroleum, seed, and ammonia.
• Performs bookkeeping for grain transactions, invoicing, and account reconciliation.
• Maintains safety and regulatory compliance, and improves procedures to enhance efficiency.
• Works with area manager and location manager on performance and training.
