Job summary

CHS Inc. is seeking a Grain Operations Specialist in South Dakota to support loading, unloading, and transport of commodities and agricultural inputs.

You will ensure safety, maintain equipment, and adhere to regulatory standards while servicing customers in a fast-paced environment. The role requires at least 1 year in Operations, ability to operate loaders and related machinery, and a willingness to work extended peak-season hours.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in Operations and/or Business Operations.
• Must meet minimum age requirement.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• CDL license or Hazmat endorsement preferred.
• Pre-employment screening may be required per job requirements and industry guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general labor responsibilities promptly and efficiently under supervision.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of commodities handled at the location and comply with company policy and government regulations.
• Work with customers in a courteous and professional manner.
• Prepare trucks and railcars for loading/unloading and operate related equipment.
• Load and unload agricultural inputs from railcars and/or trucks using heavy or light machinery.
