Job summary

The Equity is seeking a Grain Administrative Assistant at their Strasburg, IL location. The role supports daily grain operations, handles customer service, grain documentation, and assists producers with contracts and settlements.

You will maintain accurate grain records, coordinate scale activity, and help move and merchandise grain throughout the year, with extended hours during harvest.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent, agriculture background preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Self-Motivating personality

Responsibilities

• Follow all established personnel and safety policies and procedures.
• Waits on customers in a prompt, efficient and courteous manner.
• Operate the electronic scale platform with proper documentation, weighing and recording all inbound and outbound scale traffic.
• Work extended hours during Harvest.
• Assist in purchasing grain from the producer within the guidelines set by the VP of Grain.
• Assist producers with grain contracts.
• Make grain settlements with the producer.
