Job summary

The Equity seeks an Elevator Operator for the Effingham, IL grain facility. This seasonal role supports daily grain handling, conditioning, storage, and loading operations with a focus on safety and customer service.

You will work closely with the Grain Superintendent to maintain quality and communicate inventory needs. Responsibilities include operating equipment, following safety policies, and assisting with general facility maintenance while ensuring compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

• Follow all personnel and safety policies.
• Assist with operation of the grain facility (receiving, grading, conditioning, drying, storing, loading).
• Maintain knowledge of OSHA, EPA regulations related to grain handling.
• Assist customers in a prompt, courteous manner.
• Communicate quantity and quality of grain stocks and available storage space.
