Job summary

Bartlett is hiring a hands-on Industrial Maintenance Technician in Sheffield, IL. The role focuses on installing, repairing, maintaining, and refurbishing grain handling equipment, including conveyors and legs that move bulk commodities like wheat, corn, and soybeans.

This 2nd shift position runs 2pm–10:30pm Monday–Friday with overtime including weekends. Must have high school diploma or GED, reliable transport, strong English, and the ability to pass a background check.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Reliable transportation is required.
• Must be able to read, write, understand and follow written/verbal English instructions.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends.
• Professional demeanor (safety, quality, cleanliness, communication).
• Able to pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, maintain, and refurbish grain handling equipment.
• Work across mechanical, electrical, PLC, welding and fabrication trades.
• Extend hours and callbacks on short notice.
