Bartlett is hiring a hands-on Industrial Maintenance Technician in Sheffield, IL. The role focuses on installing, repairing, maintaining, and refurbishing grain handling equipment, including conveyors and legs that move bulk commodities like wheat, corn, and soybeans.
This 2nd shift position runs 2pm–10:30pm Monday–Friday with overtime including weekends. Must have high school diploma or GED, reliable transport, strong English, and the ability to pass a background check.

The Basics
Location: Sheffield, IL
Compensation: $25/hr
Days/Hours: This will be a 2nd shift job, 2pm to 10:30pm M-F. There will be overtime, including weekends.
Equipment Used: Various diagnostic and repair tools
Equipment Repaired: Various grain handling equipment, mainly conveyors and legs that move bulk commodities: wheat, corn, soybeans, etc

What You’ll Be Doing
The duties of this hands-on job will include installing, repairing, maintaining, and refurbishing grain handling equipment. This will include a variety of trades: mechanical, electrical and PLCs, welding and fabricating, hydraulics, pneumatics, carpentry, concrete, painting, etc. Industrial Maintenance Technicians will work extended hours and callbacks on short notice.
