Bartlett in Sheffield, IL is hiring for a hands-on Grain Elevator Operator. The role involves receiving, storing, handling, drying, blending, and loading grain, while monitoring grain conditions and ensuring safe, clean facilities.

Cross-trained to perform multiple tasks in a dynamic environment. The position offers 2nd shift (2pm-10:30pm) with ample overtime, including weekends, and a competitive $21/hr starting pay with benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Reliable transportation.
• Must be able to read, write, understand and follow written and/or verbal instructions in English.
• Available to work overtime and weekends.
• Professional demeanor (safety conscious, quality of job performance, cleanliness, and verbal communications).
• Able to pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Grain receiving, storage, handling, drying, blending, and loading of grain; monitoring stored grain condition.
• Maintaining and cleaning grain facilities and equipment to provide a safe environment; cross-trained for variety of tasks.
