Job summary

The Andersons, Inc. is seeking an entry-level operational associate to perform loadout, inspection, and general facility tasks at our ethanol production site.

You will probe trucks, operate grain handling equipment, and enter shipment data while aiding in safe railcar movements in a physically demanding outdoor environment. Work is Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM, with potential for overtime during high-demand periods.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Basic computer and data entry skills.
• Previous grain operations experience preferred.
• Ability to operate mobile equipment and/or a valid driver’s license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspection activities such as probing trucks.
• Operate grain handling and receiving equipment; provide customer service to drivers and perform data entry of shipment details.
• Monitor equipment and processes to identify issues; resolve or elevate issues when necessary.
• Operate various types of mobile equipment.
• Assist with the movement of railcars.
• Perform general housekeeping activities.
