Job summary

The Andersons, Inc. is seeking a Grain Operations Worker to support daily grain activities at our large agricultural facility in the US.

The role involves receiving, inspection, storage, and loading of corn, wheat, beans, and other commodities, with responsibilities spanning truck/probe work, weighing, sampling, and housekeeping. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and 1–2 years of relevant experience, plus the ability to operate mobile equipment or hold a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1–2 years relevant experience required.
• Ability to operate mobile equipment or hold a valid driver’s license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspection and receiving activities such as probing trucks, weighing trucks, and gathering product samples.
• Monitor grain handling and receiving equipment and processes; identify issues and take appropriate action, including minor maintenance or escalation.
• Assist with loading grains on rail cars, trucks, vessels where applicable.
• Operate various types of mobile equipment.
• Perform general housekeeping such as bin clean out.
