Job summary

The Andersons, Inc. is seeking a grain operations associate to support receiving, inspection, and storage activities in our North American operations. You will weigh trucks, collect samples, and help load grains for transport while operating mobile equipment and maintaining a clean work environment.

Prior experience in a grain handling setting is preferred. Candidates should be able to stand for long periods, lift up to 75 pounds, and work in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Basic driving and equipment operation experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced grain handling environment.
• Willingness to perform physically demanding tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform receiving, weighing, and sampling of grain.
• Monitor handling equipment and address minor issues or escalate as needed.
• Assist with loading grains onto rail cars, trucks, or vessels when applicable.
• Operate various mobile equipment as required.
• Maintain cleanliness and perform bin housekeeping.
