Job summary

The Andersons, Inc. is seeking a Grain Operations Worker to support daily grain operations at a large agricultural facility.

You will be involved in receiving, inspection, storage, and loading of corn, wheat, beans, and other commodities, including unloading trucks and supporting rail and locomotive activities. The role emphasizes a strong safety mindset, procedure adherence, and proactive support for safe grain movement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred
• 1-2 years’ relevant experience required
• Ability to operate mobile equipment and/or a valid driver’s license preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform inspection and receiving activities such as probing trucks, weighing trucks, and gathering product samples
• Monitor grain handling and receiving equipment; identify issues and take appropriate action such as resolving minor issues, performing minor maintenance, or escalating issue for resolution as necessary
• Assist with loading grains on rail cars, trucks, vessels (where applicable)
• Operate various types of mobile equipment
• Perform general housekeeping activities such as bin clean out
