Job summary

The Andersons, Inc. in Ohio is seeking a Grain Operations Worker to support daily grain operations, including receiving, inspection, storage, and loading of corn and wheat at a large agricultural facility.

You will unload trucks, operate rail and locomotive equipment, run PLC systems for rail shed operations, and assist with harvest-season unloading and loading activities while maintaining a strong safety mindset and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience required.
• Ability to operate mobile equipment and/or a valid driver’s license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and receiving activities such as probing trucks and weighing trucks.
• Monitor grain handling equipment and processes; resolve minor issues or escalate as needed.
• Assist with loading grains on rail cars, trucks, vessels where applicable.
• Operate various types of mobile equipment.
• Perform general housekeeping such as bin clean out.
