The candidate will quote bids, negotiate terms within limits, oversee hedging, and coordinate logistics to ensure timely fulfillment during harvest seasons. Strong negotiation and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required; bachelor’s preferred in relevant fields.
• Experience in agriculture or sales preferred.
• Willingness to learn grain contracts, basis, and futures markets.

Responsibilities

• Buy grain from farmers, quote bids, discuss delivery terms, and negotiate purchases.
• Write and manage purchase and sale contracts, including cash, forward, and basis.
