General Mills, Inc. seeks an Elevator Technician at its Kansas City, MO site, starting at $25.62/hour with progression after trainings. The role involves grain intake, railcar handling, data entry in UGS, sanitation, and basic maintenance within a 24/7 operation. Overtime, weekends, nights, and holidays may be required.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 2 years of mechanical/technical experience in manufacturing or related industry.
• Ability to understand and communicate in English with coworkers and supervisors.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in hot, cold, noisy, wet, or dusty conditions.

Responsabilidades

• Follow all department safety guidelines and use PPE.
• Position railcars using Shuttle Wagon and unload grain into the receiving pit.
• Assist with unloading trucks and other grain-receiving activities.
• Enter required grain, truck, and railcar information into the Unified Grain System (UGS) and verify accuracy.
• Complete sanitation tasks per the Master Sanitation Schedule and perform basic maintenance checks.
• Support training of new employees and provide coverage for the Spouter position as needed.
