Qualifications

• Safety and regulatory compliance knowledge (OSHA, EPA, DNR, DOT) and GMP awareness.
• Experience implementing GMP, HACCP and FSMA in a production environment.
• Proven ability to lead hourly employees and train teams.
• Strong problem-solving and safety incident management skills.
• Able to develop and maintain preventive maintenance and sanitation schedules.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day grain elevator operations including loading/unloading, sampling, grading, blending and storage.
• Train and lead hourly staff in operations, safety and food safety programs.
• Maintain safe, sanitary workplace per company policies and regulatory guidance.
• Develop preventative maintenance, sanitation and operating schedules.
• Drive process improvements to meet operation objectives and reduce downtime.
• Document procedures, costs and ideas for continuous improvement.
