Job summary

CGB Enterprises, Inc. operates a barge facility where you’ll support liquid fertilizer operations, grain handling, and related mine-based processes. This outdoor role requires adherence to safety programs and environmental regulations while performing a variety of tasks essential to daily operations.

You will work with heavy equipment, assist in loading barges, and ensure grain quality and timely documentation. This role offers competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Basic mathematical skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
• Effective interpersonal, oral and written communication with all levels.
• Ability to complete documentation accurately and legibly.

Responsibilities

• Assist in barge loading/unloading to meet draft and quality requirements.
• Perform deckhand duties such as reading drafts, opening/closing lids, tying off barges.
• Move grain to appropriate storage or transfer location and maintain quality.
• Execute rail duties: prep, unloading, loading and placement where applicable.
• Complete Scale/Probe Operations duties as applicable and document timely.
• Maintain general cleanliness and participate in safety program and PPE usage.
