Job summary

Lone Star College is seeking a Graduation Specialist IV to oversee programs supporting daily graduation operations and assist students through the graduation process, including transcript evaluation and residency status.

The role is highly customer-service oriented, serving as a main contact for graduation-related questions and coordinating pre-graduation activities and events across campus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 5+ years experience, or an equivalent combination.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work with students and staff across departments.
• Detail-oriented with records and residency/status processes.

Responsibilities

• Provides administrative support to the department, including composing correspondence and preparing reports.
• Provides information about graduation requirements and assists students with progress and completion.
• Assists students with backdating records, reinstatements of status, and reverse graduation.
• Assists with residency status as needed and appropriate.
• Supports graduation ceremonies and coordinates pre-graduation activities and events.
• Collects graduation data, analyzes student records for completion, processes status for graduates, and maintains the records database.
• Evaluates transcripts to determine degree completion and oversees program-related projects.
