Job summary

Cochise College is seeking a Graduation Technician to support graduation and degree completion efforts, working with Advising and Career Services to manage the graduation process. This role oversees diploma and certificate distribution and provides clerical support to the Advising & Career Services Department.

In this position you will contact students, verify documents, maintain accurate graduation records, update databases, and assist with commencement planning while ensuring confidentiality

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree from an accredited higher learning institution.
• Three years related experience; equivalent combinations may be considered.
• Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Assist with graduation procedures, forms and processes.
• Serve as primary contact for students regarding graduation.
• Review documents for accuracy and record eligibility statuses.
• Coordinate with academic advisors for credential review.
• Maintain and update graduation records and reports.
• Support commencement planning and diplomas distribution.
• Research and archive graduation records as required by regulations.
