Job summary

Arizona College is a growing institution focusing on nursing and allied health education. The Career Services Coordinator helps graduates secure training-related employment, coordinating employer needs with graduate skills and monitoring externships to improve placement outcomes.

You will develop employer relationships, coach graduates on resumes and interviews, and maintain placement records in line with ABHES standards. A customer-focused, professional mentor mindset is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
• Good oral and interpersonal skills required to effectively communicate to students, faculty, staff, externship preceptors and other related personnel.
• Proficiency with personal computers and software applications required to perform a variety of clerical and administrative functions.

Responsibilities

• Meet with graduates to assist with resume updates and job leads.
• Notify and motivate graduates of job openings and plan actions.
• Receive and document employer inquiries and references for graduates.
• Complete placement paperwork and document activities in the system.
• Develop new externship sites through networking and affiliations with medical sites.
• Maintain placement records and ensure ABHES standards are met.
• Conduct resume writing and interview skills workshops.
