Job summary

Acceleration Academies is seeking a Graduation Candidate Advocate to build relationships with students and support their journey toward earning a high school diploma. You will mentor students, provide academic and non-academic support, and help remove barriers to attendance and progress.

The role is relationship-driven, persistence-focused, and suitable for recent graduates or early-career professionals looking to gain experience in education, student support, or case management.

Qualifications

• Strong relationship-building, excellent communication, adaptability, and ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
• Associate degree preferred, but equivalent experience considered.
• Proficiency with learning management systems and educational technology tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist with enrollment and student orientation.
• Act as case manager for a cohort, monitor attendance and retention.
• Conduct recruitment canvassing and outreach.
• Deliver one-on-one academic support and coordinate with student support team.
• Advocate for students by connecting them to academy staff for support.
