Job summary

Acceleration Academies, LLC is seeking a Graduation Candidate Advocate to help re-engage students toward earning their high school diplomas. The role centers on mentoring, academic and non-academic support, and creating an empowering environment for learners.

You will register new students, support orientation, monitor attendance, and participate in recruitment activities while collaborating with the student support team to map learning pathways and transition plans.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred, but equivalent experience in education or youth mentorship may be considered.
• 0-2 years of relevant experience in educational support or working with at-risk youth.
• Strong relationship-building, communication, adaptability, and collaboration skills.
• Passion for disengaged students and commitment to their success.
• Proficiency with learning management systems and educational technology tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist with registration and enrollment for new students.
• Provide orientation support to set up student success.
• Act as a case manager for attendance and retention.
• Engage in recruitment canvassing and one-on-one academic support.
• Collaborate with student support to track learning pathways and transitions.
• Support home visits and local travel to re-engage students.
