Halff Associates, Inc. is seeking new graduates for the Water & Wastewater Utilities team in McAllen, TX. The role focuses on pipeline and facility modeling, planning, process design, and construction within a broader civil engineering scope.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering (Dec 2025 or May 2026 graduates encouraged to apply).
• 0–3 years of experience in Water & Wastewater utility projects and water/wastewater treatment design.
• Experience with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD preferred.
• Desired experience with Civil 3D, ArcGIS, WaterCAD, SewerCAD, InfoWater.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Self-motivation and good organization.

Responsibilities

• Design civil engineering projects under the supervision of a Professional Engineer.
• Support Water & Wastewater utility projects including pipeline and facility modeling, planning, process design, and construction.
• Assist in preparing plans, specifications, and cost estimates for Water & Wastewater projects.
• Perform drafting CAD work.
• Perform calculations and analysis for design projects.
• Assist in preparing permit applications and regulatory documents.
• Coordinate with surveyors, architects, and contractors; attend client/regulatory meetings.
