Job summary

Arizona State University seeks a Graduate Student Support Specialist to coordinate and advise graduate students within the Rob Walton College of Global Futures and Rob Walton School of Conservation Futures. The role centers on supporting new graduate programs launching in 2027, with hybrid and predominantly in-office duties at the Tempe campus.

You will collaborate with faculty and staff, manage iPOS processes, and assist with funding tracking, student communications, and events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and three (3) years of experience or equivalent
• Experience with ASU Salesforce, Peoplesoft and AppXtender
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
• Strong advising and communication skills
• Experience supporting graduate students and academic program milestones

Responsibilities

• Advise students on degree requirements, milestones, and paperwork
• Assist with course overrides, petitions, and registration-related tasks
• Create and review Plans of Study (iPOS) with students and faculty
• Maintain graduate program records and generate reports
• Support graduate funding and fellowships administration
