Job summary

HCA Healthcare's RN Residency Program at Research Medical Center in Missouri provides a structured yearlong transition from student nurse to registered nurse. You will gain hands-on experience, learn within a supportive team of nurse educators and experienced nurses, and contribute to evidence‑based care.

The program offers advanced clinical training, monthly education, preceptorship, skill simulations, mentoring, and collaborative projects, with a focus on safe, patient‑centered care.

Qualifications

• BLS certification obtained within 30 days of employment
• ACLS certification obtained within 1 year of employment
• Other nursing certifications may be required during employment
• Nursing degree from an accredited program (ADN/BSN)
• RN license or graduate nurse in the state
• No prior experience required

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high quality patient‑centered care within the department
• Collaborate with medical providers and care team to ensure standards are met
• Perform patient assessments during admission and each shift
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor responses
• Provide teaching to patients and families about condition, plan and medications
