You will use CRMs to nurture relationships, coordinate with department leaders, and support admission decisions. A bachelor’s degree and relevant experience are required, with a preference for a social work master's and marketing know-how.

Under the supervision of the Director of Enrollment Management, the Program Coordinator is responsible for recruiting prospective students for all University of South Carolina College of Social Work academic programs through outreach, relationship building, lead management, and enrollment support activities. The position promotes social work education and works collaboratively with internal and external partners to achieve the College of Social Work’s enrollment objectives.

Generate and nurture leads for all College of Social Work academic programs. Build and foster rapport with faculty, instructors, administrators, employers, and other community partners to maintain lead pipeline. Represent College of Social Work at career fairs, graduate fairs, forums, class presentations, one-on-ones, student organizations, and professional conferences. Correspond with prospects, inquiries, in-progress applicants, applicants, and other potential enrollment candidates for College of Social Work. Include events both on-campus and off-campus.

Leverage CRMs (CollegeNET PROSPECT, FileMaker Pro, etc.) and other technological resources regularly to maximize impact on generated leads, helping them through the application and selection cycle. This includes entering lead data accurately and promptly, corresponding with leads regularly through CRMs, and recording interactions within CRM. Create and use events, tags, workflows, and/or filters to service our pre-applicant and applicant populations through the enrollment cycle.

Participate in the development and assessment of the annual workplan, including recruitment and marketing strategies, marketing materials, and promotional properties. Marketing materials will include print material, websites and pages, scheduled correspondence, social media content, campaigns, and potentially ads.

Assist College of Social Work Program Directors and Enrollment Management Coordinator by participating in the admission application review processes as necessary. That will include reading and scoring applications, managing application readers, or editing the application and/or selection process and all its pieces.

Collaborate with College of Social Work admissions team and greater College of Social Work to provide stellar service to potential future, current, and former College of Social Work students. Perform other miscellaneous tasks as assigned by immediate supervisor that are expected to improve and support enrollment for College of Social Work.
