Job summary

Evonik in Mobile, Alabama is seeking a Process Engineer for its ETAD program, a three-year track designed for university graduates. The program blends two years of broad-based training with one year in a focused engineering role, preparing you for future leadership in engineering.

You will support production, optimize processes, participate in capital projects, and learn process safety and environmental practices while developing technical and leadership competencies in a global company.

Qualifications

• Requires a BS or MS in Chemical Engineering between December 2026 and August 2027.
• Strong foundation in chemical engineering fundamentals, process design, and safety awareness.
• Demonstrates communication and leadership skills in a collaborative, project-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and methodological support to production to improve plant availability and reduce costs.
• Identify capacity expansions, quality improvements, and debottlenecking opportunities within projects.
• Support concept, basic, detailed engineering, construction, and startup phases of capital projects.
• Generate designs, specifications, drawings, and instructions for capital projects and services.
• Assist in delivering training content and collaborating with universities and equipment manufacturers.
