Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to translate didactic learning into real-world practice within CVS stores. You will follow a structured 120‑day training roadmap under a pharmacist preceptor, enabling you to grow toward a Pharmacist role while ensuring patient safety and high‑quality service.

You’ll work as part of a team, apply SOPs, and participate in immunization activities where allowed by law, with ongoing coaching and development opportunities in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post‑Graduate Training Program at CVS Health.
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe, per state guidelines.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends.
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Attention and focus to concentrate on a task over a period of time and switch tasks as needed.
• Customer service and team orientation to assist patients and colleagues.
• Communication skills for verbal and written interactions with patients and staff.
• Mathematical reasoning to determine quantities and day’s supply for prescriptions.
• Problem resolution to handle patient or colleague interactions effectively.
• Physical demands for mobility, lifting up to 20 lbs, and long periods on your feet.
