Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to join our pharmacy team in a store setting. You will apply didactic learning to real-world practice under a pharmacist preceptor, completing a 120-day training roadmap and gaining exposure to store, district, and regional operations.

As you progress, you will contribute to patient safety, immunizations, DUR, and SOP adherence while delivering caring service that exceeds patient expectations.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate from a US-accredited program before starting the Post-Graduate Training Program at CVS Health.
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe per state guidelines.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Attend regular training and complete the 120-day comprehensive training roadmap.
• Assist the pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately.
• Demonstrate empathy and genuine care in all customer and colleague interactions, following SOPs.
