Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to translate didactic learning into real-world practice under a preceptor and district leadership. You will follow a 120‑day training roadmap designed to broaden knowledge of store, district, and regional operations while emphasizing patient safety and high-quality service.

As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work with the pharmacy team to ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment and compassionate patient care.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate from a U.S. accredited program before starting the Post‑Graduate Training Program at CVS Health.
• Ability to obtain pharmacist licensure within state guidelines, typically within 120 days of graduation.
• Must possess or be pursuing valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Support pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately.
• Demonstrate empathy and caring in all patient interactions while following SOPs.
• Assist with immunizations and patient counseling as allowed by state regulations.
