Job summary

CVS Health is seeking Graduate Pharmacy Interns to apply didactic knowledge in real-world pharmacy settings, supporting pharmacy teams to deliver safe and compassionate patient care within CVS stores.

Under supervision, interns complete a 120‑day training roadmap, learn SOPs, and prepare for a Pharmacist role while expanding clinical and technical knowledge for patient safety and quality assurance.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post‑Graduate Training Program at CVS Health.
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe, per state guidelines.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Follow pharmacy workflow procedures at each workstation for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Assist pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately.
• Counsel patients and answer medical questions under supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Support immunizations and other services where allowed by law and required training.
