Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to support pharmacy teams and learn toward a Pharmacist role. Under the guidance of a preceptor, you’ll complete a 120‑day training roadmap, deepen patient safety understanding, and participate in drug utilization review and SOP adherence.

You will assist with dispensing, patient counseling, and immunization services where permitted, while gaining hands‑on experience across store, district, and regional operations.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to starting the Post‑Graduate Training Program at CVS Health.
• Must obtain pharmacist licensure within 120 days of graduation per state guidelines.
• Must possess or be in the process of obtaining intern and/or technician licensure as required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Attendance and punctuality, including nights and weekends.
• Complete required training within a designated timeframe.
• Provide quality customer service and team support in the pharmacy setting.
• Communicate effectively with patients and colleagues; verify prescription information.
• Assist with immunizations, clerical tasks, and medication dispensing under supervision.
• Follow SOPs and safety standards to ensure accurate medication handling.
