Job summary

CVS Health in the United States is seeking a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning to real-world pharmacy operations. You will work under a preceptor to complete a comprehensive training roadmap within 120 days of graduation and support the pharmacy team to ensure prompt, safe, and accurate prescription fulfillment.

You will learn to follow SOPs, collaborate with leaders, and contribute to patient safety, quality assurance, and compassionate service in a retail setting.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program.
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within 120 days of graduation.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Assist pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled safely, accurately, and with caring service.
• Counsel patients and respond to medical questions under supervision.
• Support immunizations and point-of-care testing where allowed by law.
• Follow SOPs and maintain patient privacy and safety standards.
