Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to support pharmacy teams and prepare for a Pharmacist role. You will learn under a preceptor, following a 120‑day roadmap across store, district, and regional operations.

You will assist with patient safety, immunizations, and ensure safe, accurate prescription dispensing while upholding SOPs and professional standards. This program emphasizes empathy and readiness for expanded responsibilities within CVS Health.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post‑Graduate Training Program at CVS Health.
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe, per state guidelines. Failure to obtain licensure within 120 days may result in separation.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Complete the 120‑day comprehensive training roadmap.
• Assist the pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately.
• Support patient safety, DUR, SOP compliance and professional standards.
• Provide counseling and empathetic service to patients and caregivers.
