Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to apply school learning in real-world practice within CVS Pharmacy locations. You will complete a comprehensive 120-day training roadmap under a preceptor and district leader, focusing on patient safety, drug utilization review, and SOP adherence while delivering high-quality patient care.

You’ll support immunizations and routine pharmacy operations, learning to manage workflows, provide empathetic service, and progress toward a Pharmacist role

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post‑Graduate Training Program at CVS Health
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe, per state guidelines
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe
• Attention and Focus: pivot quickly between tasks while ensuring prescription accuracy
• Customer Service and Team Orientation: help people in a friendly manner
• Communication Skills: clear verbal and written interaction with patients and colleagues
• Mathematical Reasoning: perform calculations for dispensing and supplies
• Problem Resolution: handle challenging patient or colleague interactions appropriately
• Physical Demands: be mobile and lift items as needed
• Any additional tasks as directed by Supervisor or Manager
