Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to support pharmacy teams in delivering safe, accurate prescriptions and compassionate care. You will complete a 120‑day training roadmap, learn SOPs, patient safety practices, and how to perform drug utilization reviews under supervision.

Qualified candidates hold a PharmD from a U.S. accredited program, must obtain licensure within 120 days, and may maintain intern/technician licensure.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate from a U.S. accredited program is required before beginning the Post‑Graduate Training Program.
• Ability to obtain pharmacist licensure within 120 days of graduation as per state guidelines.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Attention and focus to concentrate on a task over a period of time and pivot between tasks.
• Customer service and team orientation to assist patients and colleagues.
• Communication skills for verbal and written interactions with patients and staff.
• Mathematical reasoning to handle prescriptions and pharmacy calculations.
• Problem resolution to address patient or colleague interactions effectively.
