Job summary

CVS Health's Graduate Pharmacy Intern program immerses you in our pharmacy teams to learn and grow while preparing for a Pharmacist role. Under supervision, you complete a comprehensive 120-day training roadmap spanning store, district, and regional operations to strengthen patient safety, DUR, and SOP adherence.

You will support operations, learn immunizations, counseling, and mid- to long-term supervision duties as readiness increases.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program before starting the Post-Graduate Training Program.
• Must obtain required pharmacist licensure within the designated timeframe.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, intern/technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Follow SOPs and maintain patient safety in pharmacy operations.
• Assist pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately.
• Deliver immunizations and other services where allowed by law.
• Maintain high level of empathy and professional communication with patients and colleagues.
