Job summary

CVS Health is offering a Graduate Pharmacy Intern program within our retail pharmacy network. You will apply your didactic learning to real-world practice under a preceptor, completing a 120-day training roadmap to deepen patient safety and DUR knowledge while supporting daily pharmacy operations.

You will learn to deliver safe, high-quality service, counsel patients, and assist in immunizations and related services where allowed by state law, with progression toward pharmacist responsibilities.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program.
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within 120 days of graduation.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely and accurately.
• Follow SOPs and maintain patient safety and privacy.
• Demonstrate empathy and provide caring service to patients.
• Support immunizations and other pharmacy services where permitted by law.
• Learn and operate under supervision to gain readiness for pharmacist role.
• Remain flexible for scheduling and travel to stores as needed.
