Job summary

CVS Health operates a Graduate Pharmacy Intern program intended to train graduates for Pharmacist roles within CVS stores nationwide.

Under supervision, interns complete a 120‑day comprehensive training roadmap, support the pharmacy team, ensure safe dispensing, and learn patient care in a fast-paced retail setting. The role emphasizes empathy, compliance with SOPs, and readiness for greater responsibility.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post-Graduate Training Program.
• Must obtain required pharmacist licensure within 120 days of graduation.
• Possess or be in the process of obtaining intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Attend regularly on a schedule including nights and weekends.
• Complete required training within the designated timeframe.
• Support pharmacy operations to ensure safe, accurate dispensing and patient service.
• Counsel patients, answer questions, and assist with ongoing immunization services where allowed.
• Maintain SOP adherence, documentation, and collaboration with the pharmacy team.
