Job summary

CVS Health Graduate Pharmacy Intern program provides hands-on training in store operations, patient care, and pharmacy workflow to prepare for a Pharmacist role. Under supervision, you’ll complete a 120-day training roadmap with focus on patient safety, DUR, and professional standards.

As you gain readiness, you’ll take on greater responsibilities, including immunizations and counseling, while learning to operate within SOPs and a collaborative team in CVS Retail locations.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate from a U.S. accredited program.
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe (120 days).
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern/technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Demonstrate empathy and customer service while assisting patients and pharmacy team.
• Support immunizations and point-of-care services as allowed by state law.
• Maintain pharmacy operations with SOPs and ensure patient safety and privacy.
