Job summary

Hospitals is seeking a Graduate Nurse for its RN Residency Program in New Mexico. Eligible graduates must secure NM RN licensure within 60 days and transition through a 0.90 FTE, rotating shift path, with a plan to advance to RN Inpt or RN Outpt on successful NCLEX completion.

The role emphasizes patient care across age groups, adherence to safety protocols, and ongoing professional development in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate Nurse permit or RN license required within 60 days of hire.
• Must apply for or obtain NCLEX and NM RN licensure within 60 days of hire.
• Bilingual English and Spanish is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, direct patient care under RN preceptor supervision.
• Work within Hospitals and departmental policies.
• Develop and document individualized care plans with discharge teaching.
• Administer medications, including IV meds, per policy.
• Assist with tests/procedures and obtain proper consent.
• Support emergency measures and maintain a safe environment.
• Contribute to department and hospital mission and goals.
• Pursue professional development through education, literature, and training.
