Job summary

Lovelace Medical Center Downtown in Albuquerque, NM seeks new graduate nurses to join our team as Graduate Nurses/RN for the upcoming Fall/Winter 2026 class. You will provide nursing care under direct RN supervision in a hospital with round-the-clock services.

Eligible candidates include recent nursing grads; applications are open and a sign-on bonus of up to $10,000 may be available. The program supports licensure and a nurse residency pathway within a 263-bed acute care setting.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or Diploma of Nursing.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• Eligible for licensure by examination.
• Graduate Nurse Permit or RN license issued by the NM Board of Nursing at the time of start date.
• Dual application to the ETP Nurse Residency Program and the unit of choice.
• Applications are open.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in nursing.

Responsibilities

• The Graduate Nurse provides nursing care to patients under the direct supervision of an RN. Adheres to policies and procedures and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.
