Job summary

UNMH in Albuquerque, NM seeks Graduate Nurses to join the RN Residency Program starting January 18, 2027. Graduates must obtain NM RN licensure within 60 days of hire and pass NCLEX for advancement to RN Inpt or RN Outpt roles.

The program offers rotating shifts with compensation differentials for Weekday Nights, Weekend Nights, and Weekend Days, plus support through an RN Preceptor and structured development.

Qualifications

• Graduate Nurses must obtain NM RN licensure within 60 days of hire.
• Applicant must have applied for or obtained authorization to take NCLEX.
• No minimum experience required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, direct care to an assigned group of patients under the supervision of an RN Preceptor.
• Work within Hospitals, Nursing division and departmental policies.
• Assist with care planning, discharge planning and patient/family teaching.
• Administer medications, including IV meds, via the Seven Rights; document findings.
• Assist with tests/procedures and ensure proper consent.
• Support emergency measures and maintain a safe environment.
