Job summary

Jobtome in New Mexico is seeking Graduate Nurses to join our RN Residency Program. Applicants must have graduated from a nursing program by December 2026 and plan to obtain NM RN licensure within 60 days of hire.

This 0.90 FTE, rotating shift program offers a structured pathway to RN roles, with clear competency requirements and support from an RN Preceptor as you advance to RN Inpt or RN Outpt positions after licensure.

Qualifications

• Program Graduate (essential)
• Bachelor's Degree (nonessential)
• Nationally Accredited Nursing Graduate (essential)
• No minimum experience required (essential)
• Bilingual English/Spanish (nonessential)

Responsibilities

• PATIENT CARE - Deliver safe, direct care to an assigned group of patients, under the supervision of an RN Preceptor
• POLICIES - Work within Hospitals, Nursing division and departmental policies
• CARE PLAN - Work with the healthcare team to implement and document individualized care plans
• MEDICATION - Administer medication, including IV medication, per the Seven Rights; document findings
• TESTS AND PROCEDURES - Assist with tests/procedures with proper consent
• EMERGENCY MEASURES - Assist with or institute emergency measures as needed
• ENVIRONMENT - Maintain safe, therapeutic environment
• MISSION AND GOALS - Support department and hospital missions/goals
• DEVELOPMENT - Participate in educational programs and ongoing learning
• PATIENT SAFETY - Follow safety policies/protocols
• PATIENT SAFETY 2 - Proactively improve patient safety
• PATIENT SAFETY 3 - Report environmental risks
• PATIENT SAFETY 4 - Report medical errors/near misses
• PATIENT SAFETY 5 - Encourage patient engagement
