Job summary

Ascension St. Vincent Evansville offers a nurse residency program that guides new graduates from student to professional nurse. You will work with mentors, complete simulations and labs, and attend residency seminars to refine your practice while coordinating clinical schedules and department commitments.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date.

Education

• Enrolled in or completion of Nursing program required. Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required within 90 days of hire.
