Job summary

Palmdale Regional Medical Center in Palmdale, CA, seeks a residency program coordinator to supervise administrative aspects of the residency program, ensure deadlines, and support the Program Administrator and Director.

You will liaise with the hospital, other departments, schedule events, manage exams, publications, NRMP, and ERAS processes; requires strong organizational skills and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of office administration experience.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree or four years’ experience in academic/program coordination.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative supervision and guidance to residents regarding deadlines and workflow.
• Liaise between residents and hospital administration as needed.
• Coordinate residency program events, recruitment, orientation and external rotations.
• Manage New Innovations data for residents and faculty; support NRMP responsibilities.
• Maintain program materials, publications, and website; assist with conferences and lectures.
