Job summary

Palmdale Regional Medical Center, part of Universal Health Services, is seeking a Program Manager to oversee the daily operations of the Transitional Residency Program under the Program Director and Administrative Director.

The role requires a thorough understanding of ACGME accreditation policies, initiative, independent judgment, and the ability to recruit trainees, develop projects, analyze workflows, maintain databases, and manage relations with faculty and residents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum of one year experience in a full time academic and/or educational program coordinator role, required.
• In lieu of Bachelor's degree, a minimum of five years' experience in a full time academic and/or educational program coordinator role required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operational management of the Transitional Residency Program under the Program Director and Administrative Director.
• Direct long-range planning, trainee recruitment, project development, workflow analysis, and database maintenance; coordinate with faculty and residents.

Education

Bachelor's degree

5 years' experience in academic/educational program coordination
