Job summary

Palmdale Regional Medical Center is seeking a Program Manager to oversee the Transitional Residency Program's daily operations and strategic development. You will work under the Program Director and Administrative Director to ensure compliance with ACGME standards and coordinate trainee recruitment, projects, and workflow improvements.

The role emphasizes initiative, independent judgment, and effective communication with faculty and residents to foster program success and external relations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum of one year experience in a full time academic and/or educational program coordinator role, required
• In lieu of Bachelor’s degree, a minimum of five years’ experience in a full time academic and/or educational program coordinator role required

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operational management of the Transitional Residency Program.
• Maintain comprehensive understanding of ACGME accreditation policies.
• Direct long-range planning, recruit trainees, develop projects, analyze administrative workflow, maintain databases, and manage internal and external program relations.

Education

Bachelor’s degree required

Position Summary

With oversight and direction from the Program Director and the Administrative Director, the Program Manager is responsible for the daily operational management of the Transitional Residency Program. The position requires a comprehensive and detailed understanding of ACGME accreditation policies, as well as a high degree of initiative and independent judgment.

The Program Manager will continually assess and direct a wide range of programmatic issues including long range planning, recruiting trainees, developing projects, analyzing administrative workflow, maintaining databases, communicating with faculty and residents regarding a range of issues, and managing internal and external program relations.
