Job summary

Avila University is seeking a Graduate Student Assistant to support the CIPGS front office, student services, and residency activities. You will be a friendly, independent first contact for students, faculty, and visitors, guiding them to the right resources and staff.

The role also involves assisting with arrival/check-in, materials preparation, event setup, and logistical support during residency programs, while contributing to college projects as needed.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a welcoming and professional first point of contact for graduate students, faculty, staff, and visitors to the CIPGS office.
• Provide basic information and directions and help students connect with CIPGS staff or university offices.
• Assist students with navigating university resources and systems.
• Help prepare student packets, materials, and meeting spaces for residency activities.
• Greet and assist students participating in residency activities and provide logistical support during residency events.
